DT boards are slalom (SL) engraved on skis board. The waist of the board is about 70mm, with an hourglass shape, wide head and tail. Due to the length of the board and the depth of the side cuts, it makes turning faster and more flexible. The wider head makes it more buoyant and less likely to get stuck during skiing.
