A reasonable gear setup greatly enhances the snowboarding experience by improving comfort, performance, and safety. Below is a comprehensive matching guide suitable for snowboarders of all levels.
1. Snowboard
- Selection basis: Height, weight, and riding style (all-mountain, freestyle, carving, etc.)
- Board types: Camber, Rocker, Flat, Hybrid
- Recommendation: Beginners are advised to choose an all-mountain board for better versatility. The Manlin Sports All-Mountain Snowboard is a great choice.
2. Bindings
- Must be compatible with both the board and boots.
- Flex rating should match the boots and board:
- Beginners: Medium flex (3–6)
- Advanced riders: Choose based on style (softer for freestyle, stiffer for freeride)
- Recommendation: Using bindings from the same brand as the board ensures better compatibility.Manlin Sports can recommend bindings suitable for our snowboards.
3. Snowboard Boots
- Fit: Snug but not restrictive
- Lacing systems: Traditional, Speed Lacing, BOA
- Flex should match bindings and board style
